Temple Of The Tooth (The Buddha's Tooth)
I got vip access to see this!!! Sri Lanka is home to two of the three teeth recovered from the Buddah. Its also where you will find his footprint. I've just gone on an epic journey that included visiting several sanctuaries/ temples created by kings to protect one of these teeth from destruction and theft. The history in this country is so unreal. l walked miles & climbed several ridiculously high mountains in the darkness, barefoot. How I did it and survived, I have no idea! I walked on every stone and even in the dirt, completely unmoved. Every detail in each temple, every carving in each rock was done to project the Buddha's tooth. I have never been so scared in my life as I held on to a single railing climbing this mountain/stupper but it was worth it! Because what happened once I finally got there was amazing!
